 Special Holiday Event - Santa Claws!
Our
annual print newsletter is on its way! But we wanted to be sure
that folks knew about our special Holiday Event coming up fast …
A special "Santa Claws" event will be held at CRC on Sunday, December 6th,
from 1pm-4pm. Join us to celebrate the season, enjoy some hot cider or
cocoa, visit with some of our knowledgeable and devoted education and
animal care team members, as well as CRC staff and Board of
Directors. Above all, take the opportunity to visit with the
birds and start your holidays with the peace of nature!
Be Santa for your favorite birds at CRC!
With the holiday season upon us, CRC is happy to announce a NEW
event for the winter season that will put the FUN in fundraising!
On November 27th, the day after Thanksgiving, and all through December,
our friends, members, neighbors and visitors to the center can
demonstrate their love and appreciation for wildlife by becoming
"Santa" to the birds of CRC.
Check in as usual at our visitor center and purchase customized
wooden tokens, each depicting a gift that no one would appreciate more
than our glorious birds, items such as mice, fish, wellness exams,
quail, toys, etc. There will even be the opportunity to "gift" the
people who generously donate their time and skills to the cause, our
phenomenal volunteer team. Stockings will be hung on the aviaries with
care, and YOU can be Santa for a day, and stuff raptor stockings with
tokens as you tour our facility and renew your personal commitment to
nature education and compassionate, responsible care for wild animals.
It is certain to be a great way to involve the whole family in the
spirit of holiday giving while supporting a local, professional effort
to take responsibility for some of the human impact on wildlife.

 Holly Wreaths
More Holiday Treats!
Wreaths – Support local wildlife this holiday
season by purchasing lush, handmade natural holly wreaths from Holly
Ridge Farm, a family farm located near the base of Mount Pisqah. The
Holly Ridge Farm family will donate to CRC $5.00 from each wreath
purchased by CRC supporters! These wreaths are very festive,
nature-inspired creations that make great outdoor home decorations
lasting well into the New Year. They also make a beautiful gift that
can be shipped throughout the US. Choose between green and variegated
Holly in the following sizes; 32 inches ($60), 24 inches ($40), and the
smaller but still bountiful 20 inch size ($32). Wreaths are pre-ordered
to be made fresh and will be available for pickup at the farm, or can
be delivered priority mail for additional shipping and handling costs.
